It is composed of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, blended from over 35 vineyards and multiple vintages. The wine is aged on lees for at least four years, contributing to its rounded, smooth texture, and then dosed with 20g/l cane sugar, which is twice the dosage of the Brut Reserve and half that of the Demi-Sec.
