Rum Co. of Fiji 5 Year Old Spiced Premium Rum 700mL, known as RATU, is crafted in Lautoka, Fiji and aged for 5 years in charred American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then filtered through coconut shell carbon. Bottled at 40% ABV, this column-distilled rum features a complex nose of charred oak and citrus, while the palate delivers rich vanilla, candied orange, toffee, star anise, cinnamon, and soft liquorice flavors. The finish is smooth, warm, and distinctly spiced, with the warmth of cinnamon and star anise lingering.
