Amrut Single Malt Indian Whisky Intermediate Sherry 57.1% 700ml

An exceptional sherry-influenced release from Amrut, the Intermediate Sherry is a bold, cask-strength Indian single malt matured using a distinctive multi-stage process. Aged initially in oak and then transferred to sherry casks before returning to oak, this “intermediate” maturation creates remarkable depth and layered complexity.

Bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV, it opens with rich aromas of dark raisins, dried figs, toasted almonds, and warm baking spices. The palate is luxuriously full-bodied, revealing notes of dark chocolate, caramelised fruit, roasted nuts, and sweet sherry richness balanced by oak spice and subtle malt sweetness. The finish is long, warming, and beautifully structured with lingering dried fruit and spice.

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to unlock its intricate layers.
