Kavalan Solist Amontillado Taiwanese Single Malt Whisky 750ml is a cask strength whisky matured exclusively in Amontillado sherry casks, bottled at around 56.3% ABV. It features rich, complex aromas of roasted nuts (hazelnuts, almonds), salted caramel, dried fruits (apricots, figs), and tropical fruits like mango and passionfruit. The palate is full-bodied with nutty dryness, caramel, dark chocolate, and spices like cinnamon and clove. The finish is long, warming, and nutty with a hint of espresso and oak dryness.
