Nagahama Roman Pure Malt 8 Year Old Whisky (700ml, 47% ABV) is a Japanese pure malt whisky from the smallest distillery in Japan, Nagahama Distillery, located by Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture. The master blender carefully selected and blended malt whiskies imported from Scotland, matured in the unique climate moderated by the lake. The whisky features a balanced, rich vanilla aroma with gentle barrel notes and a powerful fruity sweetness reminiscent of fresh green apples. The palate offers malt sweetness with fresh apple notes followed by a bitter and spicy finish that is complex yet soft and pleasant. It is non-chill filtered and presents a light amber color
